G-Eazy Talks Mac Miller, the Warriors, and Having Dinner with JAY-Z | Open Late “The Switch Up” LIVE
Written by SOURCE on November 7, 2018
Having Michael B. Jordan on Open Late during ComplexCon 2018 was huge, but Peter Rosenberg was far from done. Also gracing the Open Late stage for a special one-on-one interview was Oakland’s own G-Eazy. Sitting in front of a Bay Area-heavy crowd, Rosenberg and G chopped it up on a number of topics.
After breaking down G’s massive hit “No Limit,” which he actively avoids during Uber trips, they highlighted how radio can oversaturate a market with the same number of hit singles. He also talked about how he helped his mother out after getting put on, and the strain of being on the road for nine out of the last 10 months(!) touring.
G-Eazy also spoke on the new material he’s been working on, having dinner with JAY-Z, his friendship with Mac Miller, and the Golden State Warriors. He also spent some time Diggin in the Crates, and mentioned where he was when Lil Wayne‘s Tha Carter III dropped.
