‘Game of Thrones’ Cast Crashes Kit Harington’s ‘SNL’ Monologue

With Game of Thrones‘ final season around the corner, fans have embarked on a quest to find any clues to how the show will end. Naturally, Saturday Night Live lampooned the fervor when the drama’s star Kit Harington took over as host this week.
After a few jokes about his past acting gigs, Harington opened the floor for questions. He’s instantly confronted by a fan wondering who will win the Iron Throne. Of course, Harington avoids the question, but he gets pressed by his co-star Emilia Clarke right after.
“Could you just give us a general sense of how it ends?” Clarke asks.
John Bradley (Samwell Tarly) and Harington’s wife Rose Leslie (the long-deceased Ygritte) joins Clake to ask hard-hitting about what happens and what Harington is going to do for money after Game of Thrones. Watch the bit above.
This is not the first time the Game of Thrones cast has played with their fans’ emotions. Last week, Maisie Williams and Jimmy Fallon teamed up for an April Fool’s joke where the actress pretends to accidentally reveal a character death.
“During shooting like the final days were really like emotional saying goodbye to all of the cast. Because when I found out Arya died in the second episode,” Williams said before selling the joke with tears and a dramatic exit from the stage.
