Gucci Mane Ushers in a Harsh Freeze With Kevin Gates Collab “I’m Not Goin”

At exactly the right moment, Thursday brought us a new Gucci Mane cut ahead of the release of his upcoming Evil Genius album.
Catch the video for “I’m Not Goin,” featuring Kevin Gates, up top via YouTube. BET Hip Hop Award-nominated director Eif Rivera is behind the camera. He previously directed Guwop in the “Make Love” video featuring Nicki Minaj and also counts 50 Cent, Cardi B, DJ Khaled, Jeezy, Rick Ross, and Meek Mill among his credits.

Fittingly, Evil Genius will consist of 17 tracks. “Fuck it I’m dropping #EvilGenius Decemburr 7th,” Guwop announced earlier this month, ending a run of delays and giving fans firm word on the El Gato: The Human Glacier followup. Gates is joined on the album by additional guests including Quavo, 21 Savage, and Lil Skies.
“[Gucci Mane] pretty much keeps telling me I got it,” Skies told Billboard back in February. “He’s fucking with me mad hard. [He’s] tryna holla at me about deals and shit like that. At the same time, I’ll talk to him and be like, ‘No disrespect to you, but I’m tryna be my own boss… I’m tryna establish my own brand and be my own Gucci.'”
