Gunna Brings “Big Shot” to ‘Kimmel’

The late night talk show circuit received a jolt of watchability Monday night thanks to Gunna.
Indeed, the prolific YSL artist rode through Jimmy Kimmel’s Hollywood headquarters to give the audience a performance of his Turbo and Ghetto Guitar-produced cut “Big Shot.”
Catch that moment, all in the name of Gunna’s excellent Drip or Drown 2, up top.
Last month, Gunna enlisted the Rite Brothers to direct the “Big Shot” video.
Gunna, whose Drip or Drown 2 Tour with Shy Glizzy and Lil Keed kicks off at the end of this week, recently reflected on his breakout year in an interview with Complex. Speaking on the relentless work he’s put in to get to this point, Gunna recalled the life-changing reception of his 2018 project Drip Season 3 and how that reaction set the course for his entire career.
“I feel like it was just a real good body of music,” Gunna said in December. “After all the work I had put in, I had gathered enough fans to where the impact of this new project was going to be bigger than my last project. So with that and the music being as good as it needed to be, that’s what got me to where I’m at.”
Gunna’s also among those featured on Nav’s just-released Bad Habits project, which has already been given the deluxe treatment.
