HBO Says They’re Down for Even More ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ If Larry David Is

Season 10 of Curb Your Enthusiasm is now in progress, which means it’s once again time to ask the question: Will Curb be back again after this latest go-around?
According to HBO, that’s contingent on the desires of central enthusiasm curber Larry David.
“The deal with Larry is that he tells us when he is ready to go,” HBO President of Programming Casey Bloys told Deadline on the night of the show’s season 10 premiere. “If he tells us he wants to do more, we’ll do more.” Bloys went on to add that the events of this season indeed leave the story wide open for a continuation.
“He’s thinking about what he wants to do,” Bloys said, joking that Larry’s character “doesn’t die or anything” this season.
Sunday night’s new episode, the Jeff Schaffer-directed “Happy New Year,” saw David going through the drastic measure of wearing a hideous MAGA hat just to cut short a dreaded lunch with Everybody Loves Raymond Phil Rosenthal. In short, the lunch was brought about by David’s less-than-surgical usage of the handy Big Goodbye method of exiting a party.
In his GQ cover story earlier this month, David remarked that he’s “shocked” whenever someone says something on Curb makes them cringe.
“I’ll tell you this: If something made me cringe, I don’t think I’d put it in the show,” he said.
