Here Are the 2019 American Music Award Winners

The 2019 American Music Awards are here! Ciara will be handling the hosting duties at this year’s ceremony while a handful of artists, such as Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, and Lizzo, are slated to take the stage. 

Post Malone, who will also be performing his hit song “Take What You Want” with Travis Scott, Ozzy Osbourne, and Watt, leads the pack with seven nominations. Billie Eilish and Ariana Grande are close behind with six noms, respectively. 

The night has already been mired in controversy ever since Swift accused Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta of trying to prevent her from performing certain songs from her catalog as part of a medley set in conjunction with her receiving the Artist of the Decade honor. Both sides engaged in a long, confusing discourse over what she could (and couldn’t) perform. As of right now, we still don’t know to expect, so stay tuned.
