The nominees for the 2021 edition of the American Music Awards, set to air on ABC next month, are here.
Drake, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, BTS, Olivia Rodrigo, and The Weeknd are all vying for the Artist of the Year honor. Other highlights include Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion both scoring individual nominations in the Favorite Female Hip-Hop Artist category and J Balvin and Bad Bunny landing nods for Favorite Male Latin Artist.
The fan-voted awards show airs live on ABC on Nov. 21 starting at 8:00 p.m. ET. As previously announced, Jesse Collins—an Emmy nominee—will serve as showrunner and executive producer.
“Jesse and his team bring tremendous creative firepower, expertise that spans multiple genres and formats, and an innovative mindset that makes them our ideal partners to shepherd this show into the future,” MRC co-CEO Modi Wiczyk said back in July.
