Here’s a New ‘Toy Story 4’ Teaser

We like revisiting old stories. That’s why Toy Story 4 shared a teaser immediately after Tom Brady won yet another Super Bowl.
The trailer for the fourth film in the series that put Pixar on the map checks back in with Woody and Buzz Lightyear yet again. While the toys have moved on from Andy as of Toy Story 3, the new film takes them even further afield with Buzz getting himself stuck among the prizes at a carnival.
Give it a watch up above.
While the midway-showcasing spot gives us a look at Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele’s characters in the upcoming flick, we are still unsure where Keanu Reeves fits into the equation. The fourth Toy Story will include Key & Peele’s carnival plushies and a new anxious toy made out of a plastic spork, but Reeves remains a mystery.
That spork, Forky, will spend the film grappling with his purpose per director Josh Cooley.
“A toy’s purpose is to be there for its child,” he said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. “But what about toys that are made out of other objects? Forky is a toy that Bonnie made out of a disposable spork, so he’s facing a crisis. He wants to fulfill his purpose as a spork, but now has a new toy purpose thrust upon him.”
The Stephany Folsom-penned movie hits theaters on June 21, so we’re sure we’ll learn more about the toys’ troubles in the meantime.
