Moncler Genius welcomes the latest cutting-edge designer collaboration in their expansive roster as fragment design’s Hiroshi Fujiwara steps up the plate.
fragment has been heralded over the years as one of the most exciting brands within the streetwear realm, ushering in big-name collaborations alongside Off-White, Nike, Moncler, and Dr Martens, with their take on Anti Social Social Club also on the way. Hiroshi Fujiwara’s multi-disciplinary approach the brand has established fragment design as an instantly recognisable establishment, making their collaborative iteration of the Air Jordan 1 one of the most coveted takes in the silhouette.
7 MONCLER FRAGMENT HIROSHI FUJIWARA acts as a crossover collaboration, taking the core outerwear foundations that have become Moncler’s signature, and tweaking them with Hiroshi’s vintage, military, urban, and tech references. The resulting collection is daring: taking bold bases and further elevating them with a functional edge. As expected, outerwear remains the collaborative core, offering up the Japanese designers take on puffer and bomber jackets, with compliments courtesy of updated buffalo check shirts and sweats that reference Aviator, Mod, and Americana styling.
Commenting on his collaboration with Moncler Genius, Fujiwara said: “Moncler Genius is the opportunity to mix different identities into a new one. It allowed me to test solutions and materials I have never used. The result is an unreleased Hiroshi, but it is also an unreleased Moncler.”
