After taking a year-long break from releasing any new solo music, Louisville representative Jack Harlow has returned with his new single “Nail Tech” along with an accompanying music video that’s directed by Jack alongside Frank Borin.
A week before its release, Harlow dropped a creative teaser trailer for the track, which found the rapper contemplating what his next move should be with his therapist before ultimately deciding he needs to release new music.
He later shared the cover art, which features several women lined up like a football play is about to go down:
Despite not releasing any solo music since dropping Thats What They All Say, Jack Harlow has kept busy with a handful of collaborations and touring across the country. The Kentucky rapper snagged his first No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 song after he joined Lil Nas X for “Industry Baby” (which also earned them a Grammy nomination in the Best Melodic Rap Performance category), connected with Pooh Shiesty on “SUVs (Black on Black),” and showed his appreciation for his hometown fans with a run of sold-out shows in December.
He was also recently announced as an ambassador for New Balance. “I have been rocking New Balance since I was a kid, so to officially join the brand in this way is really exciting,” he explained. “I’m excited to peek behind the curtain and work with the brand more.”
Now, the 23-year-old spitter has decided to feed his frenzied fanbase with “Nail Tech,” a song that proves he hasn’t become any less entertaining as well as shows how much he has grown as a rapper.
