Jimmy Kimmel Shares 2022 Edition of Annual Halloween Candy Prank
Written by SOURCE on November 3, 2022
In the days following Halloween, a few things can be expected. Chief among them, at least in recent years, has been the tendency of parents to flood Jimmy Kimmel’s desk with footage of them tricking their children into thinking they’ve monstrously consumed their entire candy haul.
Overnight, Kimmel’s team rolled out the 2022 edition of this annual tradition, more formally referred to as the “Hey Jimmy Kimmel, I Told My Kids I Ate All Their Halloween Candy” YouTube challenge.
Opening this year’s edition of the unifying hilarity inducer is a kid who declares that one parent is no longer their “best friend” due to ingesting all their hard-earned candy, followed swiftly by a kid brought to tears whilst noting he had intended to enjoy “all of the pieces that didn’t have nuts” after making the mistake of vowing to share their Halloween acquisitions with the adults.
The rest of the compilation more or less continues along this same path, although there are a few surprises, including one prank target who generously brushes off the loss of candy and proposes simply buying more for next year’s festivities.
See the full thing above, then pair your watch with Complex’s recently shared rundown of the year’s best (among celebrities at least) Halloween costumes. Featured in this year’s roundup are Tyga as E.T., Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly as Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee, Diddy as Heath Ledger’s Joker, Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian as Chucky and Tiffany, and more.
Of course, Halloween never really ends if you’re a true connoisseur of the season. It’s a year-round king of thing.
