Mere weeks after the long-awaited release of Juice WRLD’s “Bye Bye” with Marshmello, fans were given another previously unreleased song from the late artist on Friday.
The arrival of “In My Head” was teased on social media in recent days, including by Grade A Productions founder Lil Bibby. Ahead of the rollout, a 30-second clip was released to Spotify under the title “Rush Hour.”
Stream “In My Head” below via Spotify. The song is also available on Apple Music, Tidal, and every other major streaming service.
“In My Head” is the latest posthumous release from Juice WRLD, who died of an accidental overdose in December 2019 at the age of 21. This month, Live Free 999—a nonprofit started by Juice’s mother, Carmela Wallace—announced a $100,000 donation to mental health organizations. The announcement took place on World Mental Health Day, with Wallace sharing a statement thanking fans for their continued celebration of her son’s legacy.
“Jarad’s music helped people throughout the world feel less alone and cope with their mental health challenges,” Wallace said at the time. “While we continue the difficult but necessary conversations around mental health, we will support incredible organizations that serve our communities and make an immediate impact.”
Last December, the posthumous Juice album Fighting Demons was released to coincide with HBO Documentary Films’ Into the Abyss documentary. Most recently, he was featured on DJ Khaled’s God Did cut “Juice WRLD Did.” Revisit the song below.
