Justin Bieber Drops New Single “Yummy”

Justin Bieber has got big plans for 2020.
Following a relatively quiet year, the 25-year-old singer kicked off the new decade with his much-anticipated single “Yummy.” The Biebs confirmed the track on social media last month, along with the announcement of his YouTube docuseries, fifth studio album, and its supporting tour.
“As humans, we are imperfect. My past, my mistakes, all the things that I’ve been through, I believe that I’m right where I’m supposed to be and God has me right where he wants me,” he said in a teaser. “I feel like this is different than the previous albums just because of where I’m at in my life. I’m excited to perform it and to tour it. We all have different stories. I’m just excited to share mine.”
“Yummy” likely serves as the lead single off Bieber’s forthcoming album. The as-of-yet-titled project will find the singer straying away from pop and delving further into the R&B sound.
Bieber’s last studio album was 2015’s Purpose. Since then, Bieber has shared a number of stand-alone tracks and collaborations, including “Friends” with BloodPop, “10,000 Hours” with Dan + Shay, “Love Thru the Computer” with Gucci Mane, and a remix of Billie Eilish’s hit track “Bad Guy.”
“Yummy” is available to stream now. Listen via Spotify below or check out the lyric video for the song up top. Bieber is also releasing a music video for “Yummy.” The video will premiere on Saturday.
Bieber’s 10-part docuseries Seasons will premiere on YouTube on Jan. 27. His North American tour will begin May 14 in Seattle, followed by stops in Las Vegas, Chicago, Houston, Atlanta, Detroit, and Toronto. Check out the full schedule below.
