Pop-soul crooner Kamal. is back with his first drop of the year in “essential”. Produced by J Moon, the guitar-led track revolves around the familiar subject matter of romantic relationships but with a focus on the breakdown of a relationship that provided you with a love that you thought was essential.
Featuring his trademark sweet vocals, juxtaposed with the harsh reality of the song’s lyrics, the North-West London native effectively shares the toll that heartbreak takes on you with his poignant lyricism.
