Kanye West and Nicki Minaj Tease New Collaboration on ‘Keeping up With the Kardashians’

Are Kanye West and Nicki Minaj really joining forces?
That certainly appears to be the case, after West and Minaj were seen FaceTiming on Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. According to E! News, the song will be featured on the rapper’s upcoming ninth studio album Yandhi, and will be called “New Body.” Both Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign are reportedly set to appear on the track.
In the episode, West travels to New York with his family to perform on Saturday Night Live. During a recording session, he suggests Minaj for a feature on “New Body.” After his producer co-signs the idea, West asks Kardashian to send Minaj the song. “Wait a second. Kim, you want to send it to her?” he says. “She asked you.”
“She did ask me, ‘Can Kanye send me new music?'” Kim responds. During the FaceTime session, which you can watch below, West tells Minaj that the song is “gonna be fire.” Nicki said she’ll “say some real ass s–t,” to which West replies, “That’s all we do!”
Kardashian later took to Twitter to confirm the collaboration. “Nicki really is the goat! @NICKIMINAJ We FaceTimed her and within an hour she had written the song and it’s soooo [fire emojis]” she wrote.
In a March 7 interview with The Lunch Table, engineer Kevin Celik talked a little bit about “New Body.” “There’s a song on the album called “New Body” and Nicki Minaj is on it,” he said. “It’s Kanye, Nicki and Ty Dolla $ign [and] it’s Kim K-inspired for sure.”
There’s no word yet on when we might hear “New Body” or Yandhi, but it’s officially time to get excited.
