Katy Perry Reassures Fans Her Eye Glitch Is Just a ‘Party Trick’

Fans were worried when they saw Katy Perry’s eye glitching during a recent Las Vegas performance.
The singer soon addressed the concern, taking to Instagram to share a clip of her set and her apparent facial malfunction.
“Welcoming all my #flatearthers #spaceisfakers #birdsarentrealers #skyisntbluers to come see my broken doll eye party trick IRL in Vegas next year!” she captioned the video, using the moment to reveal that she added 14 shows to her Las Vegas residency and that fans can catch her there next year.
“The show’s set list is a fun [roller coaster] through memory lane going all the way back to 2008, a time when we weren’t all frozen by the paranoia of our own echo chambers! This show is a nonstop party about finding unconditional love and strangely (for me) not political at all, heck I pour beer out of my tits (that’s a party trick too…I don’t actually lactate hops silly goose!)”
On Tuesday, Perry celebrated her 38th birthday with an IG post of her husband Orlando Bloom’s hand, her hand, and their three-year-old daughter Daisy’s hand all sitting on top of one another. She captioned that one, “every time i blow a candle out i always wish for you. 38 and grateful.”
