Keep the Fantasy Alive with Club Fantasy Collection 2

Club Fantasy’s endless euphoria continues to keep the energy alive as they tap a hand-selected pool of typeface developers for Collection 2. 

Former Donda art director Joe Perez has been heralded as one of the most exciting creative leads of this generation, delivering some of the wildest album artwork, tour merchandise, and apparel lines the scene has had to offer. From the moment Club Fantasy exploded onto the streets it was clear that this was a brand all about fun, looking to the sweat-soaked energy of raves and underground parties to bring an aura of excitement back to streetwear. The head-turning graphics of the brand’s initial drop have been further developed for Collection 2, as Perez calls on a select group of typeface developers to create a futuristic aesthetic across a selection of new apparel lines. 

In an industry that has been dominated by standardised typefaces such as Helvetica, Club Fantasy Collection 2 looks to bring the artistry of design back to typography selection. The design team achieved this by turning this drop into a collaborative process, shaping a unique identity for the brand, and keeping the originality of each graphic alive. With the introduction of new silhouettes such as tie-dye socks and embroidered bucket hats, Club Fantasy expands is armoury, providing the perfect compliments for their bold graphic t-shirts, hoodies, and sweatpants. 

Speaking on the collaborative direction of Collection 2, Perez said: “I’ve always viewed Club Fantasy as a collaborative brand so I’ve found and curated with designers that I feel embody a contemporary rave aesthetic. Designers who create custom typography and art have an underground energy and spirit, that epitomizes the aura of the brand.”
