Kevin Durant Announces He Will Wear No. 7 With Brooklyn Nets

With his signing to the Brooklyn Nets pretty much official now, Kevin Durant will embark on this next chapter of his NBA career with a new number.
Durant explained his journey with the No. 35 on the Instagram account for his business Thirty Five Ventures before announcing that the next time he is seen in a Nets jersey, he will be wearing No. 7.
It’s not entirely clear why Durant has chosen No. 7. We will most likely get that answer in the future. What we do know is that his commitment to the new number is very real. KD made this announcement on July 7, or 7/7, at 7 p.m.
