Key Glock has given fans with another taste of his next full-length project.
Weeks after unleashing “Ambition for Cash,” the 24-year-old Memphis rapper returned with “Da Truth”—a Pyrex Whippa-produced joint in which he boasts about his fame, cars, money, and women. “They say roses are red where this bankroll on me blue,” he raps in the first verse. “I been flexin’ so hard I ain’t got shit else to do/Yeah, I been flexin’ so hard I ain’t got shit else to do/Yeah, but ball on these hatin’ ass n***as, ain’t shit to it.”
“Da Truth” serves as a single off the fast-approaching sequel to last year’s Yellow Tape, which included appearances by which included contributions from Southside, Kenny Beats, and Seldgren. Yellow Tape 2 will reportedly showcase Glock’s evolution as a rapper, and will feature production from Tay Keith, Juicy J, as well as guest appearances by Sosa 808, Budda Bless, and more.
You can stream “Da Truth” now on all major platforms. And be sure to stay tuned as we wait for more details about Yellow Tape 2, which is slated to arrive sometime this fall.
