Kid Cudi’s ‘Entergalactic’ Enlists Staple for New Collab Collection

The release of Kid Cudi’s cross-platform Entergalactic experience is being commemorated with a new collab collection from Staple and Netflix.
The collection features expected pieces including t-shirts, jackets, and beanies, each bringing together Entergalactic and Staple imagery in a unique way. But the creatively presented alliance has some surprising entries, as well, including a disposable camera and a skate deck.
Below, get a closer look at the full collection. The pieces will be available via the official Staple site starting at 11 a.m. ET on Friday, while the Netflix Shop site will being sales at 3 a.m. ET.
Speaking with Jimmy Fallon this week, Cudi—whose next project with Netflix is Teddy, which he also wrote and is set to direct—explained how boredom with the traditional manner in which albums are rolled out helped inspire how he’s handling the Entergalactic unveiling.
“I wanted something, just a bigger splash this time around,” Cudi said. “I thought about the idea to splice the music with the animation but have the music kind of narrate the story, you know, something that hasn’t really been done before. And that’s kind of why we’ve been calling it, like, a TV event.”
Entergalactic, both the album and the Netflix event, will be available on Friday.
