ASICS and Kiko Kostadinov make history as they link up the new GEL-KIRIL.
When it comes to footwear collaborations, ASICS and Kiko Kostadinov have continually set levels. The pairing initially set the pace with the GEL-Burz and GEL-Delva series, offering unique perspectives on classic ASICS tooling. For their latest collaboration, Kostandinov is offered a historical moment, becoming the first collaborative partner in ASICS history to develop a silhouette of their own from the ground up. Developed over 18 months, the GEL-KIRIL offers brand new tooling with ASICS sports performance DNA at the forefront of design. Characterised by its sleek build and unmistakable colour blocked side profile, the drop is set to land in three distinct colourways.
Get familiar with the ASICS GEL-KIRIL in the campaign below, shot on location in Bulgaria by Tommy Malekoff. The first colourway of the three-piece collection – Cilantro – is set to drop globally on February 8th, with Black and Icy Mint set to follow on February 28th and April 18th respectively.
