Kim K Offers Apology to Family Over Impact of Kanye West Relationship

Today in riveting news of the take-an-excerpt-from-an-episode-of-a-show variety, we have another clip from Hulu’s The Kardashians.
The moment in question, as seen in the TMZ-provided video below, sees Kim Kardashian speaking with various members of her family after receiving a text about an unnamed song from the artist formerly known as Kanye West.
“Kanye’s coming out with a new rap song. … That means he’s talking mad shit about me and probably saying, whatever,” Kim tells the room. Several chime-ins then occur, including advice from sister Khloé and mother Kris Jenner, the latter of whom says it “hurts all of us” when people say “disparaging things” that may later be heard by younger members of the family.
“I think that I will never stop being me,” Kim says in response. “All I can do is control how I react to something. I can’t control how he treats me or how he’s always treated you guys.”
Speaking to the camera later, Kim offers an apology to her family.
“I do recognize the impact that my relationship has had on my family. And I’ve never had the opportunity to just say, I’m sorry guys,” she says.
The excerpted comments in question appear near the end of the latest episode of The Kardashians titled “Where I’ve Been and Where I Wanna Go,” which debuted on Hulu on Thursday. Also featured throughout is Travis Barker, who recently hit Italy with Kourtney Kardashian for some wedding action.
In a previous episode that also benefited from the excerpt-to-headline pipeline, Kim recalled Ye allegedly saying her “career’s over” after a solo styling decision. “He told me my career’s over and then he showed me a picture of Marge Simpson wearing something similar,” Kim said in reference to her look at WSJ. Magazine’s Innovator Awards in November.
Ye, meanwhile, is set to release a collaborative track with the late XXXTentacion this Friday.
