An unreleased sex tape involving Kim Kardashian and Ray J does not exist, a rep for Kim tells TMZ and Page Six.
After Kanye told Hollywood Unlocked’s Jason Lee that he retrieved a laptop belonging to Ray J—weeks after his former manager Wack 100 said he allegedly had a “part two” tape starring Kim and Ray J—Kardashian’s rep said there was “nothing sexual” on the laptop. Kanye and Kim’s lawyer, Marty Singer, previously said that the “claim that there is an unreleased sex tape is unequivocally false.”
“After review, there was nothing sexual unseen, only footage on the plane on the way to Mexico and footage at a club and restaurant on the same trip,” the rep told TMZ, who points out that Page Six had the statement first. “Kim remains firm in her belief that there is no new second tape that exists.”
The rep added that Kim “truly wishes to move on from this chapter with focus instead on the positive things she continues to do as a mother, entrepreneur and advocate for justice reform.”
Sources close to Kim tell TMZ that she does appreciate Kanye’s effort to retrieve it because it’s embarrassing, “especially when it’s continued to be brought up in a way that’s thoughtless and intended to cause more pain.”
As for Ye, he told Lee in the lengthy discussion, which was posted in full this week, that he went to recover the laptop on the night that his estranged wife hosted Saturday Night Live back in October. As Ye recalls, he brought it to her at 8 a.m.
“After I went and got the laptop from Ray J that night, right? I met this man at the airport, then got on the red eye, came back…delivered it to her at 8 a.m. in the morning,” he said. “I gave it to her, and she cried when she saw it. You know why she cried when she saw that laptop? It represents how much she’s been used. … It represents how much people didn’t love her, they just saw her as a commodity.”
