In honor of what would have been King Von’s 28th birthday, the late rapper’s estate has released a music video for the OMB Peezy-featuring “Get It Done,” a highlight from the posthumous album What It Means to Be King.
The 20K Visuals-directed “Get It Done” is the seventh video that Von’s family has shared since he died in a shooting in 2020, following “Too Real,” “Don’t Play That,” “Demon,” “Armed & Dangerous,” “Mine Too,” and “Wayne’s Story.”
Released back in March, What It Means to Be King served as the official follow-up to Von’s debut studio album Welcome to O’Block, which dropped just a week before the Chicago rapper was shot and killed in Atlanta on Nov. 6, 2020.
Boosted by a pair of singles (“War,” “Don’t Play With That”) as well as guest features from 21 Savage, G Herbo, Tee Grizzley, Moneybagg Yo, Fivio Foreign, Dreezy, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and Lil Durk, What It Means to Be King debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 59,000 equivalent album units earned, 55,000 of which came from 79 million official streams.
