Kodak Black Allowed to Perform in Dubai, Will Donate Portion to Charity

Written by on March 29, 2022

TMZ has learned that a judge has allowed Kodak Black to travel to Dubai next month where he will perform at a concert and make a few paid appearances.

Kodak points out in his motion to travel for work purposes that he hasn’t been getting into trouble lately, and has been granted permission to travel across the United States for work-related matters. The judge seemingly overlooked an incident last month that resulted in him being one of three men shot outside of a Los Angeles bar where a Justin Bieber afterparty was held.

The “Super Gremlin” rapper also pledged to donate 10 percent of his earnings to a few charities of his choosing. His attorney Bradford Cohen indicated that he has already reached out to the Pennsylvania State Police Association about submitting a donation which would be put towards the college funds of the children of troopers Martin F. Mack III and Branden T. Sisca. Both men were struck and killed by an alleged drunk driver while trying to help a man walking on the I-95 in Philadelphia earlier this month.

Cohen said Kodak was invited to Dubai by a prominent businessman who outlined a series of appearances at jewelers, nightclubs, and exotic car dealerships, in addition to his performance. He’s expected to be in Dubai from March 28 to April 3 with security and one of his producers.

Kodak’s legal matter stems from the prison sentence commuted by Donald Trump in Jan. 2021 that includes 36 months of probation.
