Kodak Black’s Security on Alert for New Orleans Show Following Lil Wayne Diss

Venue security for Kodak Black‘s show in New Orleans is on alert after Kodak took shots at Lil Wayne and his ex wife.
While Wayne’s A-list status might seem to elevate him above the street-level beefing and sending goons/goblins into a show, the recent scuffle during a Pusha-T show in Toronto proves even top-tier rappers can get caught up in turf wars.
According to TMZ, security at NOLA’s Mahalia Jackson Theater for the Performing Arts are monitoring social media to see if any Wayne fans mention going after Kodak. New Orleans police are also assisting with security.
The beef started after Kodak was apparently hurt that Wayne didn’t show up to his show in Miami. Kodak got on the mic and called Lil Wayne a “fuckin’ maggot” and said “You should’ve died when you was a baby.” That—combined with how Kodak has previously challenged Wayne to a fight—is enough for everyone around him to be a little on edge.
After that, Wayne’s daughter Reginae Carter and Carter’s mother Toya Wright defended Wayne.
“You new lil rappers need to start giving props and respect to the Goat. My father don’t bother nobody. … You pick the night he didn’t go to LIV to say that. You bold,” Reginae said in a since-deleted Instagram post. “This n***a whole album sound like my daddy old shit. Gtfoh.”
Kodak responded to Toya, saying “If I Ain’t Have No Girlfriend I’ll Fuck Da Shit Out Yo Fine Ass.”
Things haven’t been all acrimonious around Kodak Black. He helped a woman out of her overturned vehicle and broadcasted his deed on Instagram Live.
