Lady Gaga Dog Walker Shooting Suspect Was Mistakenly Released From Jail

One of the suspects in the shooting of Lady Gaga’s dog walker in February 2021 has been mistakenly released from jail due to an administrative error.
As KABC reported, 19-year-old James Howard Jackson was released from jail on Wednesday according to booking records. The charges against Jackson, who has been accused of firing shots during the theft of the pop musician’s dogs, were dismissed. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said that he was erroneously freed from jail, and he is now a wanted man.
Jackson is one of the three men who were arrested in connection with the incident last year. He was charged with attempted murder, conspiracy to commit robbery, and second-degree robbery. Ryan Fischer, who walked Gaga’s dog, was shot while he walked Lady Gaga’s dogs, Asia, Koji, and Gustav. Fischer suffered serious injuries in the attack, which was partially recorded by a doorbell camera of a home nearby.
The footage of the attack shows a car pull up beside Fischer, during which they can be seen struggling. Jackson is believed to be the one who pulled a gun on Fischer, firing one shot and making off with two of the dogs. At the time of the attack, Lady Gaga was filming a movie in Rome, which was presumably House of Gucci. She offered a $500,000 reward to have the dogs returned, and they were recovered when a woman who was in a relationship with the father of one of the suspects turned up with them to a Los Angeles police station.
