Lady Gaga was one of the many celebrities who was forced to flee their Californian homes during the raging wildfires, eventually delivering an emotional speech at a shelter to all the people misplaced in the chaos. TMZ is reporting that she’s gone a step further now, helping deliver pizza and other supplies to hundreds of people in the L.A. area on Tuesday (Nov. 13) night.
Showing up the Red Cross Shelter to treat those the Woolsey fire displaced, Gaga was photographed holding a stack of pizzas that she gave to those waiting to find out if their homes are still standing or not. When she visited a Red Cross shelter at Pacific Palisades High School on Sunday (Nov. 11), she told a crowd, “I extend my love… I know we do not know each other, but I love you. This is an emergency, but you are not alone.”
During her visit, she reportedly encouraged everyone to speak with the mental health counselors that were on the premises, hoping that sharing their stories would help them cope during the difficult time. Gaga’s home has allegedly survived the wildfires so far, but that hasn’t stopped her from reaching out to the communities impacted by its destruction.
Gaga reportedly spent 90 minutes at the shelter, taking photos with fans, giving out gift cards, and even sang to a 98-year-old woman who had been displaced by the fires.
