When it comes to his music projects, Lil B doesn’t adhere to the less-is-more principle. Case in point: His newly released Options mixtape that offers almost two hours of music with 34 tracks. We know, it’s not nearly as lengthy as that 855-song project he dropped in 2012, but still …
Options was announced back in July and marks Lil B’s second full-length project in 2018, following the Platinum Flame tape that arrived back in May. Lil B confirmed Options was finally completed earlier this week on social media, revealing that the tape would include production by Certified Hitz, Keyboard Kid, Uptown Greg, and himself.
Options features titles like “Bounce 4 Dem Hunedz,” “Jumanji,” “Dolla 4 Dolla,” and “This is the BasedGod” (a reworking of Childish Gambino’s hit single “This Is America.” The tape’s closing track, “My House,” is assisted by hitmaker Metro Boomin, he’s the only feature on the project besides Lil B’s alter ego The BasedGod.
You can stream Options now on Apple Music/iTunes.
Lil B will also make an appearance in Teddy Walton’s upcoming short film Mental Health. Check out a trailer for the project below.
