Lil Durk continues to bless fans with new music despite his serious legal battle.
On Tuesday, the Chicago-bred rapper—legal name Durk Derrick Banks—unleashed his “Like That” single featuring King Von. The track will appear on Durk’s long-awaited sequel to 2017’s Love Songs for the Streets. Durk confirmed the project is set to arrive on July 26.
You can listen to “Like That” now on Apple Music and Spotify, as well as on YouTube above.
Durk and Von have each been charged with multiple felonies in connection to a February shooting in Atlanta. Police say the OTF rappers targeted a man named Alexander Witherspoon because they believed he was carrying $30,000 in cash. Witherspoon was shot in the thigh outside The Varsity restaurant and was reportedly robbed in the aftermath. After reviewing surveillance footage and hearing witness testimony, prosecutors accused Durk of carrying out the shooting alongside Von. Both men are now facing five felony charges, including criminal attempt to commit murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
Durk maintains his innocence.
