Lil Durk’s ’7220′ Reclaims No. 1 Spot on Billboard 200

Fresh off earning his first No. 1 solo album on the Billboard 200, Lil Durk’s seventh studio effort, 7220, becomes the Chicago rapper’s first full-length release to spend multiple weeks atop the chart.
Four weeks since debuting at No. 1, 7220 has reclaimed the crown this week despite moving just 47,000 equivalent album units, 46,000 of which are made up of official streams.
After bowing out of the top spot on March 26, Lil Durk’s latest album spent the next three weeks holding onto the No. 2 slot on the Billboard 200. Durk previously topped the Billboard 200 last year with his and Lil Baby’s collaborative effort, The Voice of the Heroes.
During a recent appearance on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, Durk was asked about an earlier statement in which he said he wants to be “bigger than Drake.”
“We touch people. Drake’s at a rate where he can stay in the fucking house if he want to. But nah, shout out to him. He touched the youth,” Durk said. “That’s one thing about him. He touched us and got us hotter than what the fuck we was but a lot of people can’t say that. Like a lot of these mothafuckas don’t even know him but a lot of people he talk to don’t me know. Like, that’s just what it is.”
The rest of this week’s Billboard 200 is rounded out by Morgan Wallen’s Dangerous: The Double Album, which rose to No. 2 with about 46,500 units moved; the Encanto soundtrack, which remained firm at No. 3 on the strength of 45,000 units; as well as Jack White’s Fear of the Dawn and Olivia Rodrigo’s Sour, which tap out at No. 4 and No. 5, respectively.
