Lil Nas X Shares Emotional Message About Fame With Fans: ‘It Eats Away at Me’

Lil Nas X has been having a year most people only dream of, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have moments when he’s down.
The rapper opened up on Twitter about dealing with sad moments, and how he deals with them in private.
“I usually deal with my sad times in private because I don’t like for my fans or family to feel sorry for me,” he wrote on Twitter. “This year had a lot of very high ups and extremely low downs. when u get to that hotel room and it’s just you, you do a lot of thinking. Small things become so BIG.”
“I like to pretend hate and shit don’t get to me, but subconsciously it eats away at me,” he continued. “Feeling like u have the world and knowing it can all go away at any time is scary. With all this being said, I want anybody who cared enough to read this to just live in the moment. love u guys.”
Lil Nas X has gained his popularity not only because of his hit tracks, but because of how vulnerable he’s been willing to be. He also won Song of the Year recently for his track “Old Town Road” at the Apple Music Awards.
