Lil Uzi Vert Drops Bass-Heavy New Song “Space Cadet”

Lil Uzi Vert has surprised fans with “Space Cadet,” a new track that the rapper shared on his SoundCloud page during the early hours of Saturday.
The bass-heavy track sees Uzi firmly in his comfort zone, effortlessly floating between more rapid-fire flows and a sing-song approach for its chorus. It’s a hard-hitting track that sounds tailor-made for live performances, especially knowing how wild his shows can get.
The cover on SoundCloud appears to be the same art that Uzi teased when he announced the Red & White EP, indicating that fans can expect to see “Space Cadet” on the project when it drops. When he revealed the art, he suggested that the EP is but a taster of bigger things to come. “Before the P!NK,” he added, referring to his upcoming full-length project he announced in the past.
Uzi hasn’t released a solo full-length since Eternal Atake and its accompanying deluxe edition featuring Lil Uzi Vert vs. the World 2. That same year he teamed up with Future for Pluto x Baby Pluto. In May, he informed fans that he’s focused on working on new music and promised that he’s “going back to classic mode.” He has yet to announce a release date for either the EP or the full-length.
