Lil Yachty’s Viral Track “Poland” Hits Streaming Services

Lil Yachty’s track “Poland” recently surfaced online and now it has officially made its way to streaming services.
The hypnotic song made waves when it surfaced thanks to its distinct hook, which sees Yachty boast about bringing the “woooOOOooOOooock” to Poland. The melody immediately made it take off on TikTok, meme pages, and has been pretty much unavoidable since. Frustrated that it leaked, Yachty initially uploaded the F1LTHY-produced song as a SoundCloud exclusive but now it’s available on Spotify, Apple Music, and other streaming services.
It’ll be interesting to see if the song will enjoy further success now that it’s available via more widely accessible means. Yachty’s frequent collaborator Lil Uzi Vert had a similar release schedule with his hugely popular “XO Tour Llif3” in 2017. That track was initially only released on SoundCloud, and made its way to streaming less than a month later. It eventually peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100, and served as the rapper’s mainstream breakthrough.
Regardless of how “Poland” performs in the charts, the song has already inspired countless memes, including one hilarious video from comedian Lenarr Young which jokingly shows how Yachty recorded his distinctive vocals. It’s refreshing either way to see how Yachty, six years removed from his breakthrough project Lil Boat, has continued to inspire viral moments.
