The countdown is over. Majid Jordan has finally released their much-anticipated studio album, Wildest Dreams.
The OVO duo—made up of singer Majid Al Maskati and producer Jordan Ullman—announced the project in the first week of October, nearly four years after dropping their previous album, The Space Between.
In an interview with Complex Canada, Jordan referenced the time between their albums, saying, “If you’re not recreating yourself in four years, I don’t know if you’re living.” He added, “We’re always trying to change and develop the way we think. We don’t really mind taking risks creatively.”
Majid echoed the importance of pushing beyond your comfort level. “That’s how you know you’re attempting to live… Going out of what you’re used to, being willing to take that risk regardless of what your ego, your mind, or even your closest friends are telling you.”
Wildest Dreams spans 11 tracks, including the previously released singles “Waves of Blue,” “Been Through That,” and “Summer Rain.” As with previous albums, Majid Jordan kept the guest feature list to a minimum, with Drake, Diddy, and Swae Lee making appearances. You can stream Wildest Dreams now on all major platforms, including Apple Music and Spotify.
In support of their third album, Majid Jordan will hit the road next month for a North American tour. The trek begins Nov. 11 in San Francisco and will conclude Dec. 2 in Toronto. Check out the full list of concert dates below.
