Mick Jenkins has shared his long-awaited sophomore album, Pieces of a Man.
The Chicago rapper has been promoting the project for the past several months, teasing big-name features as well as releasing a handful of singles like, “Understood,” “Padded Locks,” and “Barcelona.” Jenkins briefly spoke about the album during an appearance on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show, confirming Corinne Bailey Rae was one of the artists who would appear on the record.
Pieces of a Man boasts 17 tracks, and includes assists by Ghostface Killah, Julien Bell, and BadBadNotGood; the latter of whom also contributed production, alongside names like Kaytranada, Black Milk, THEMpeople, and more.
You can stream the new project now on Apple Music/iTunes and via Spotify below.
Pieces of a Man marks Jenkins’ fist album release since 2016’s The Healing Component; it’s also the artist’s first full-length effort since his Or More; The Frustration mixtape that arrived back in February.
