Mo3 continues his legacy with posthumous single “Mob,” featuring Foogiano.
For this track, Mo3 laces his raps with rounds of bars that would rival a Fabrique Nationale.
“Chopper strapped off in my joggers, who protecting 3?/My bodyguard, oh you don’t see this bitch?/This FN on me,” Mo3 raps. “Little bro got bodies, he don’t show his face/Young nigga, barely speak.”
Normally, MO3 carried the melodies when it comes to tracks. But for this record, 1017’s Foogiano offered a variety of flows that helped changed the dynamic of the song.
“I put it on my son, we ain’t doing one-on-ones/Niggas say I ain’t gon’ slide, on my momma I’mma slide/I’mma have his momma, baby momma, sister, brother crying,” Foogiano raps. “I crack that henny, turn me up, boy that shit turn me to a dog/And boy I fill this backwood up with zaza, it fat like a log.”
“Mob” will be featured on Mo3’s first posthumous album, Shottaz 4 Eva. This is the fourth installment in his popular Shottaz series and will feature YFN Lucci, Kevin Gates, Boosie Badazz, and more. The album is set to release on April 9.
“Thank you for your continued supporting of Mo3 and his music,” a statement from his family reads. “He appreciated his fans more than anything and your love has sustained us through this time and helped keep his memory alive. … We can’t wait for you to hear Shottaz 4 Eva and other music MO completed.”
