Listen to Tyler, the Creator’s New Songs “Best Interest” and “Group B”

Tyler, the Creator has unleashed “Best Interest,” a track that was originally recorded for his latest album, IGOR. Tyler shared it alongside a lo-fi video of him and friends enjoying the wilderness. He followed up the video with another new track, “Group B,” which finds him rapping over a soulful sample.
“A song that I never got to fully finish from IGOR sessions,” he wrote in the YouTube description for the first of the two tracks. “Didn’t want it to sit on a hard-drive. Filmed with no music, with hopes that it would sync up, a success!” He added on Twitter that the video was shot on a whim. “Was on a boat, told the homie to just start filming, I was lip syncing to no music.”
The YouTube description for “Group B” features the lyrics to the song, which Tyler expressed his excitement for after posting. “‘Group B’ hard n***a sheesh,” he said. “Bucket hat like I’m Gillian/Hit Wallace I just ordered a Cullinan,” he raps at the top of the song.
It’s worth noting that fans first discovered “Best Interest” earlier this year when it popped up on PRS for Music, which catalogues the copyright of material both published and unpublished. One Redditor noticed the song was registered on the site, although it featured a longer running time than the version Tyler released. This isn’t the first bonus track fans have heard from IGOR, as the CD and vinyl release of the album came with “Boyfriend,” which was absent from downloads and streaming services.
