Little Simz And Michael Kiwanuka Reconnect In Video For Blissful, Jazz-Tinged “Flowers”

Back in March, Little Simz dropped her latest album, GREY Area, a stunning addition to her impressive catalogue. It might be hard to believe, but the album was her fifth and has been bearing fruits ever since. The latest single to emerge is “Flowers”, a jazzy collaboration with soul singer Michael Kiwanuka, produced by Astronote and Inflo, that’s just been given an intimate set of visuals from director Jeremy Ngatho Cole. Soaring trumpets and a free-flowing piano melody meander and swirl through the mix while Simz delivers her stream-of-consciousness lyricism and Kiwanuka’s emotionally-wrought vocals swoop and soar with impressive range.
