Additionally, 9 songs from the project debuted on Billboard’s Hot 100. “All the songs are like turn up, club, radio—fucking parade music,” Thug previously said of So Much Fun. “It ain’t no storylines to it […] This shit is all about fun. If you not having fun or in a fun mood, don’t even play this album.”

In other Young Thug news, the artist is is gearing up to drop another project before the close of the year. He talked about it all during an interview with Fader. “It’s most definitely touching music,” Thug said of the project, which is tentatively titled Punk. “It’s music that the world is going to embrace. Punk means brave, not self centered, conscious. Very, very neglected, very misunderstood. Very patient, very authentic.” In an interview with Rolling Stone, Thug said that Punk is his best album and that it takes cues from 2Pac. “My best album would probably be Punk, because it’s more like real life. It’s more like Tupac. Tupac could be one of the biggest rappers in the world, because he rapped what he rapped about. I had conversations with JAY-Z and he told me, ‘We gotta learn how to continue what Pac had going. Pac was a teacher. Pac teaches.’”
