Logic Enlists Blu & Exile for New Single “Orville”
Written by SOURCE on May 28, 2022
Just a week after joining forces with producer 6ix for their single “Vinyl Days” (with scratches by DJ Premier), Logic taps Grammy-nominated producer Like and Los Angeles duo Blu and Exile for his latest offering, “Orville.”
The fifth track from Logic’s forthcoming album Vinyl Days, “Orville” follows the previously released double single, “Decades” and “Tetris,” as well as “Therapy Music” featuring Russ, and “Vinyl Days.”
“Orville” is the second track Logic has dropped in the past two weeks, as the Maryland artist plans on releasing a new single every week until the arrival of Vinyl Days.
Due out June 17, Vinyl Days marks the DMV rapper’s second full-length project following his “retirement” from hip-hop in 2020, and will serve as the official follow-up to last summer’s Bobby Tarantino III, the latest installment in a series Logic began with his 2016 mixtape and continued with a 2018 sequel.
Later this summer, Logic will hit the road with Wiz Khalifa for their upcoming Vinyl Verse Tour. Featuring guests DJ Drama, C Dot Castro, and Fedd the God, the 28-city trek kicks off July 27 at the FivePoint Amphitheatre in Irvine, California, making stops in Houston, Atlanta, and Brooklyn, before wrapping Sept. 2 in St. Louis.
