Louis Vuitton Shares Virgil Abloh-Designed UNICEF Bracelet | Complex

Louis Vuitton, in partnership with UNICEF, has shared a Silver Lockit bracelet that was designed by the luxury retail company’s men’s artistic director Virgil Abloh.
$100 from the purchase of a bracelet will go towards UNICEF. The bracelets, which feature an engraved padlock and are a nod to Abloh’s Spring-Summer 2020 runway collection, come in four colorways. There’s black, orange, celadon green, and blue with yellow. The bracelet was inspired by Georges Vuitton’s tumbler lock, which was invented all the way back in 1890.
“In continuation of its #MAKEAPROMISE campaign, Louis Vuitton is committed to raising awareness and funds for UNICEF to support the most vulnerable children around the world,” a statement from the fashion house reads. “By purchasing the Silver Lockit designed by Virgil Abloh, clients have the opportunity to support UNICEF’s work to provide conflict- and disaster- affected children with access to water, sanitation, nutrition, education, health and protection services. This includes support to Syrian refugees and host communities in Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq and Turkey, as well as children affected by recent natural disasters.”
