Man Who Attempted to Abduct Woman on New York City Subway Has Been Arrested

The man that attempted to abduct a woman on a New York City train arrested, the local New York’s Pix11 reports.
On Monday, police arrested 48-year-old Sonny Alloway in the Bronx. Alloway is accused of being the subject of a now-viral video. In the clip that was taken around 2:30 a.m. on Monday, Alloway is seen looking at a sleeping woman on the train. As the train pulls into the Morrison Avenue-Soundview station, Alloway grabs the woman and carries her off the train. He attempts to hold her against her will but the woman was able to free herself and run back on to the train.
The clip began circulating online, leading to citizens taking matters into their own hands. According to the New York Daily News, the police found Alloway in a Bronx deli where he was trying to escape a vicious attack. In another video, several men are seen beating Alloway and accusing him of being a rapist.
Following the attack, Alloway was transported to a local hospital for treatment before being taken into custody. The woman from the train’s identity has yet to be revealed.
