Mase Calls Out Diddy Amid Experiencing Technical Difficulties During Set

The latest chapter in the Mase and Diddy beef unfolded this weekend, with the Harlem rapper bringing up the Bad Boy Records founder at the Lovers & Friends Festival in Las Vegas.
Mase’ performance was plagued by technical difficulties, which ultimately led to the sound being completely cut off as he tried to perform his and Diddy’s 1997 collaboration with the Notorious B.I.G., “Mo Money Mo Problems.”
“I see what’s going on,” Mase told the crowd. “I’m used to being hated on. I’m used to what’s going on. Somebody, somewhere paid a few dollars to stop my show. But that can’t stop somebody like me. I don’t get ran away too easy. I just wasn’t ready for that, so I’m gonna take my time.”
Mase then called out Diddy, saying, “Thank you Puff, you know he paid for that right? I got you n***a. I heard you loud and clear.”
Mase’s comments arrive just two months after he aired out his issues with Diddy during an Instagram Live session in March.
“When I see the hurt and the pains of other people on Bad Boy, that motivates me to say something, so I don’t be deemed as a person who just made a bunch of money and turned a blind eye,” he said at the time. “I’m not going to be like the rest of the people around Puff that don’t tell him he’s wrong. I’m not gonna be like the ‘yes’ men around him that see him ruining people lives and never tell him he’s wrong.”
Prior to calling out Diddy on Instagram, Mase dissed Puff on his track “Oracle 2: The Legend of Mason Betha.”
The track saw Mase rip Diddy for repping New York despite hailing from the Westchester County suburb of Mount Vernon, among other things.
“Yeah, I’m just a Harlem n***a reppin’ down a Vegas strip with my own Suge/You from Mt. Vernon, n***a, go & rep your own hood,” Mase said on the track. “I’m not hating on your Billi worth/Right now, I’m only saying what you really work/You ain’t no architect/You just a n***a who know how to market death.”
