Written by on May 26, 2019

Duke Blue Devils forward and presumed No. 1 overall draft pick Zion Williamson has already been offered a $20 million shoe deal with MoneYatti and a film role courtesy of Master P and Romeo. According to TMZ Sports, the father-son duo’s offer is conditional on Williamson’s assumed arrival at the New Orleans Pelicans.

“I know Zion gonna get a big shoe deal from Nike or Adidas or whatever. We gonna get him a deal just to have to wear shoes outside of basketball,” Master P told TMZ Sports. “Just to wear it on the side, not in the game, I’m saying $20 [million].” According to Bleacher ReportWilliamson’s shoe deal profits could exceed $100 million.

P and Romeo also indicated they’re willing to find a role for Williamson in the follow-up to their film I Got The Hook-Up 2, which premieres in July“I have a beautiful idea, we need to get Zion in I Got The Hook-Up 3.” The New Orleans mogul isn’t concerned over whether or not Williamson can act, they’re confident he can be taught. “I’m not worried. I can teach him how to act.”

Most recently, the former basketball player said Williamson will be “bigger than Michael Jordan” affirming that he’ll be welcomed with open arms if he’s drafted by New Orleans.

Before Williamson signs any sponsorship contracts, however, he will need to sign an agent. Sean Deveney of Sporting News reported that several agencies are ready to sign the rookie. “Among those were Creative Artists Agency, Roc Nation, Klutch Sports and BDA Sports. While Williamson’s family will still lean heavily on Wells for advice, the goal for choosing an agency is, according to a source, ‘one that can be most effective at building his brand,'” he wrote. “A source told SN that Williamson and his family are nearing a decision, which will come possibly as early as next week.”
