Meek Mill Shares Hilarious Story About An Awkward Dinner Date With JAY-Z and Beyoncé

Meek Mill has never been one to hold back how he feels. And that held true during his interview with Tidal‘s Elliott Wilson for the streaming platform’s CRWN series. Meek Mill touched on a little bit of everything in the chat, including the work that went into CHAMPIONSHIPS, his advocacy for prison reform and a great story from his time beefing with Drake.
About the latter, Meek shared that he went on a double date with Jay-Z and Beyoncé while he was still dating Nicki Minaj. (Totally understandable flex, but ok.) Meek said that Jigga was in control of the playlist over dinner, which made things uncomfortable when Drake’s victory lap of a diss track “Back to Back” started playing.
Like all things Meek, the CRWN interview spread to Twitter. But even though Meek has lost social media battles in the past, the reaction to CRWN was overwhelmingly positive.
