Meek Mill Shows Off New Chain, Immediately Gets Clowned Over Dry Fingers

Meek Mill recently took to Instagram to show off the latest addition to his chain collection. Unfortunately for the rapper, the insane design was overshadowed by an unusually dry, unkempt hand.
As you can see in the video below, the gold and diamond-encrusted emblem was inspired by 18th Street; Meek clarifies that the design had nothing to do with 18th Street gang, but was a salute to cross streets in his hometown in Philadelphia.
“18th n Berks x 18th s cathrine,” he captioned the video, “‘not the gang’ just to be clear! New chains for new music.”
The shine of the piece was impressive, but not impressive enough to distract from the fingers that were holding it. The majority of commenters congratulated Meek on the iced-out jewelry piece, while others couldn’t help but take a few jabs at the hand. As HotNewHipHop pointed out, Young Thug and YG were among the latter group.
“Wtf fingers are those?” Thugger commented, while YG simply wrote, “Very klear” along with a series of crying laughing emojis.
It’s unclear whose hand is featured in the video, but considering Meek has millions of dollars in the bank to spend on grooming, it’s safe to say the hand wasn’t his. It’s more likely that the hand belonged to someone who worked with their hands all day—perhaps the jeweler who created the piece.
