Meek Mill Wants to Expose Companies for ‘Offering These Slave Deals’ to Young Artists

Meek Mill is calling out predatory contract practices, stating in a tweet overnight that part of his 2020 plans will be focused on “exposing” bad deals.

“We taking control of that 2020 and exposing the people offering these slave deals,” Meek said on the topic of “major companies taking kids from the ghetto” and convincing them to “[sign] they lives away” for a small amount of money.

In subsequent tweets, Meek continued, cautioning that people are often attempting to “make something off you without you knowing.”

Meek, who was recently added to the Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest lineup alongside Megan Thee Stallion, sat down with Charlamagne Tha God earlier this month for a special YouTube-shared chat.
