Megan Thee Stallion on Trey Songz Shooting His Shot: He ‘Don’t Want No Smoke With Me’

At this point, Megan Thee Stallion’s star power is undeniable—and her ability to twerk while she raps seems almost unrivaled.
In a new interview with DJ Scream and Moran tha Man, Megan discusses one celebrity in particular who’s taken notice of her, Trey Songz.
“He really is cappin’,” she said around the 6:45 mark. “I woke up in the morning—me and my homegirls got a group chat—so my homegirl dropped [his tweet] in there and she was like, ‘Look at what Trey Songz said.’ I was thinking it was gonna be some BS. And I click it and it is some BS about me!”
“I’m like, ‘First of all, Trey Songz can’t handle me,’” she said. “So we was goin’ back and forth, crackin’ jokes with each other. But I really thought it was funny. I ain’t take no offense to it. Trey Songz don’t want no smoke with me.”
In late March, Songz let his thirst get the best of him when he tweeted, “Big Ol Freak make me wanna knock the stallion head off for the culture.”
Megan curved Songz, writing, “Somebody tell Trigga he can’t handle me.”
Later, she tweeted, “Y’all not use to a natural body and I can tell,” adding, “Get use to it hoes BIG OLE NATURAL 36 DDS.” She also let it slip that she’s single.
Songz isn’t the only one. Earlier this week, her 300 Entertainment labelmate Gunna became a meme after he was caught gawking at her body during his show in New York City.
