Meridian Dan Maps Out His Personal Growth On “Vegan Chat”

Meridian Dan returns for 2019 and he’s going at it independently with the drop of his new track and visual, “Vegan Chat”. With the last 12 months light on releases for the London MC, “Fatality”, a cut alongside fellow grime OG Gods Gift at the tail end of last year, set us up for more in the tank. Now outwardly fusing his personal growth to the next stages of his career—produced by Jackum Stackum, the jazz-leaning “Vegan Chat” outlines Dan’s world-view that is now backed by a diet free of animal produce.
Filmmaking duo Blok have crafted a highly creative set of visuals that sketch out Dan’s rhymes with comical accuracy. Harking back to Dan’s amateur boxing past, scenes shot at the East End’s famous Repton Boxing Cub also bear a cameo for UK champ Dillian Whyte. Constantly finding ways to reintroduce himself, “Vegan Chat” is a welcome return for one of the scene’s most popular campaigners.
